Release Date 24.01.08: Om El Bahreyn standing at Schoukens Training Centre for 2008!.
AV Arabians was formed in 1996 and the
prefix was derived from my parents home, Anns Villa.

I had been 'horse mad' since a young child and involved with Arabians since 1975; showing, racing and later breeding them.

In 1997 Adam and I moved to Heatenthorn Farm, West Sussex and thanks to Adam I was able to realise my dream to set up a top class facility with my own group of Arabians.

The AV Arabians breeding programme is built around Russian Arabians from the Tersk Stud and Arabians of Egyptian/Spanish breeding - 'The Golden Cross'.

In 2000 we made our first Russian purchase at the Tersk Sale, run by   Robbie den Hartog at the Kossack Stud, Holland. We were lucky to be able to purchase the incomparable, now famous, 'Dancing Queen', Magdalina, now the matriarch at AV Arabians.

Since then we have bought more mares from the Sale, with particular influence from the 'Horse of the Century,, Balaton, lines. Grateful thanks to Robbie and his team for all their help and advice.
All our Golden Cross horses trace back to the inimitable Estopa and her illustrious son, El Shaklan, including an El Shaklan daughter and two Sanadik El Shaklan daughters. My first visit to Om El Arab was in 2002, for some show training from Jay Constanti. Since then Sigi, Jay and Janina have become good friends and we have made several purchases from them to enhance our breeding programme.

At AV Arabians our aim is to keep our horses happy and healthy.

All our fields have post and rail fencing, we have large, airy stables, an exercise arena, sand school, horse walker and breeding facilities. For added security we have CCTV and smoke alarms.

In addition to training and showing our own horses we can also take one or two show  or training liveries from time to time. Occasionally we have horses available for purchase.

As well as being fortunate to have involvement with and passion for the Arabian horse, we are also lucky to have met many like-minded people from all over the world and we enjoy making new friends and sharing views on the unique Arabian Horse.

Visitors are always most welcome by prior arrangement.
We are only 20 minutes from Gatwick Airport and 2 hours from Dover..
